Gravity is an invisible force that pulls objects toward each other. The bigger and heavier something is, the stronger its gravitational pull — which is why Earth pulls you toward the ground instead of you floating away.

Gravity is also why the Moon orbits Earth, and why Earth orbits the Sun — instead of flying off in a straight line, gravity constantly pulls each object into a curved path.
